WHO/WHAT: Hawaii Theatre Cinema presents The Miyazaki Ghibli Film Festival. Films include “Princess Mononoke,” “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” “Spirited Away” and “My Neighbor Totoro.” The festival will also include a pop-up shop, arts and crafts workshops with Art + Flea, a costume contest for children and food from Chinatown’s Pig and the Lady. WHEN/WHERE: Friday, July 8, to Sunday, July 10, at the Hawaii Theatre Center.
July 8: “Princess Mononoke” at 8 p.m.
July 9: “Kiki’s Delivery Service” at 4 p.m.; “Spirited Away” at 8 p.m.
July 10: “My Neighbor Totoro” at 3 p.m.
COST: $12/general; $7/youth ages 4-17; free for children age 3 and younger, but ticket required for admission. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the box office, 1130 Bethel St., Tues.-Sat., from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or two hours prior to performance (upon availability); by phone at 528-0506; or online at www.hawaiitheatre.com. A $3 theatre restoration fee will be added to each ticket. Internet convenience fees also apply.
