Bulletin Board=Glenn YamanohaWHO/WHAT: As part of the Hawaii Japanese Center’s special Japan Foundation exhibition, “Handcrafted Form: Traditions and Techniques,” painter/printmaker Glenn Yamanoha will present an overview of woodblock printmaking, its history and development, and its influences on Western art. Following the talk, there will be a cutting and printing demonstration by Yamanoha and his students from Kamana Senior Center, including a hands-on printing session.

“Handcrafted Form: Traditions and Techniques,” which features over 90 handcrafted objects created by noted master artisans from throughout Japan, will remain on view at the Hawaii Japanese Center through June 27. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
