Kinnara Gagaku And Arpana Indian Dance Concert

WHO/WHAT: A benefit concert for Higashi Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii. Funds will go toward the temple’s Centennial Celebration and Higashi Hongwanji District 750th memorial service for Shinran Shonin, founder of Jodo Shinshu, which will be held in November 2016.

The event features the Kinnara Gagaku group, which was established in 1969 at Senshin

Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles, and the Arpana Indian Dance Company, which was established in 1982 by Ramya Harishankar.

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Higashi Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii, 1685 Alaneo St.
